Y-Live 2026: Jason Aldean & Eric Church Take Over Stambaugh Stadium

The Mahoning Valley’s biggest concert event is officially back—and it’s returning to where it all began. Y-Live 2026 lands at Stambaugh Stadium on the Youngstown State University campus for two unforgettable nights of country music on Friday, July 10 and Saturday, July 11, 2026. This year’s lineup features two of the biggest names in country: Jason Aldean with special guest Travis Tritt on Friday, and Eric Church with special guest Ernest on Saturday.

The 2026 Lineup Has Arrived

After months of anticipation, JAC Management Group and Youngstown State University announced the Y-Live 2026 headliners on January 21, 2026:

Additional opening acts for each night will be announced soon. Both headliners are currently on major tours—Aldean on his Full Throttle Tour and Church on his Free The Machine Tour—making this a can’t-miss summer destination for country fans.

Why Stambaugh Stadium?

Y-Live is coming home. The festival launched at Stambaugh Stadium in 2017 with Zac Brown Band and built a tradition that’s become the region’s premier summer concert series. After several years at Wean Park downtown, the event returns to YSU’s campus, where fans will enjoy an upgraded stadium experience with 20,000 capacity per night—5,000 in temporary field seating and 15,000 in the main grandstand.

“Stambaugh Stadium is a special place to experience live music,” said Ken Bigley, COO of JAC Live. “The layout brings fans closer to the stage, the sightlines are excellent throughout the stadium, and the energy is something you can truly feel.”

Part of a Weekend Celebration

Y-Live 2026 coincides with YSU’s Summer Festival of the Arts, creating an entire weekend of music, art, and community. The arts festival runs July 11–12 on YSU’s central quadrangle, featuring 100+ curated artists, live performances, and food vendors. Arrive early on Saturday to explore the festival before the concert begins at 6:30 PM.

About the Headliners

Jason Aldean: Country’s Arena King

Jason Aldean has been one of country music’s most dominant forces for nearly two decades. The Georgia native has released eleven studio albums, with My Kinda Party (2010) achieving quadruple-platinum status. Known for hits like “Dirt Road Anthem,” “She’s Country,” “Burnin’ It Down,” and the more recent “Try That in a Small Town,” Aldean’s live shows are high-energy spectacles that blend rock and country into an unforgettable experience. His current Full Throttle Tour has been drawing massive crowds across North America.

Travis Tritt: Southern Rock Legend

Travis Tritt is a Grammy-winning artist who helped define the early ’90s country boom. With hits like “It’s a Great Day to Be Alive,” “T-R-O-U-B-L-E,” and “Here’s a Quarter (Call Someone Who Cares),” Tritt’s southern rock influence remains influential. Seeing him open for Aldean creates a perfect Friday night doubleheader.

Eric Church: The Chief

Eric Church is a 10-time Grammy nominee known for his uncompromising artistic vision and legendary live performances. His album Chief (2011) went triple platinum and produced hits like “Springsteen” and “Drink in My Hand.” More recently, Evangeline vs. The Machine (2025) has been praised as a “masterwork” by Rolling Stone. Church is renowned for marathon concerts that can stretch past three hours, making him one of the most sought-after touring acts in country music.

Ernest: Nashville’s Rising Star

Ernest (Ernest K. Smith) has emerged as one of Nashville’s hottest songwriters and artists. Known for his genre-blending style and hits like “Flower Shops” (with Morgan Wallen) and “Miss That Girl,” Ernest brings a fresh energy that perfectly complements Church’s Saturday night headline set.
